Raspberry Days Festival August 4-6, 2011 Garden City, UT

     Garden City, Utah will be celebrating the harvest of the world famous Bear Lake Raspberries August 4-6, 2011.   The Raspberry harvest is a annual event and starts the 3rd week of July and lasts 3-4 weeks. The Raspberry Days Festival begins two days prior to the first Saturday in August. The festival includes the  Little Miss Berry Pageant, a craft fair, entertainment, the Parade on the Boulevard, the Rodeo and 5K run in Laketown, the Pancake Breakfast at the Garden City Park, and ending with the fireworks on the Beach.

147th Anniversary Commermoration Battle of Mobile Bay

Fort Morgan, AL 147th Anniversary Commemoration Battle of Mobile Bay.  The Fort will open at 8:00 a.m on Saturday Aug. 6, 2011.  There will be a cannon salute, followed by a oral account of the “Battle of Mobile Bay”. The fully stocked Quartermaster Building will be on display. The resident Blacksmith will demonstrate his craft in the original blacksmith shop.

There is an Admission for this event: Admission: $5 for adults, $4 seniors, $3 for children 18 -under, free 6-under. Family Pass: $12 for 2 adults/2 children.
